Before I injured my knee I was an avid runner and went through running shoes like crazy. I always felt bad throwing them away so I would drop them in the bin at my local Nike Store after I couldn’t wear them anymore. Since that store is long gone, and I’m in Hawai’i with limited options, I made it my mission to find green ways to get rid of my shoes without having to throw them away and feel like I’m wasting them.
